What if Israel's Friend is Israel's Enemy?

Why the Biden administration is not to be trusted

Many of the most common blood libels that are often attributed to Israel have been done to Israelis. Little children were kidnapped, abused, and mocked for being afraid. Young women are being murdered, and their dead bodies are being dragged all over the streets. Jewish homes are being raided, families are being killed, and homes are being destroyed. Over 1500 Israelis have been senselessly murdered with 200 more kidnapped. These numbers include women, children, and holocaust survivors. 

By “little children,” I don’t mean the mainstream media codeword for a 17-year-old boy with a Molotov cocktail attempting to burn down a house with people in it. Or a 16-year-old boy with an AK-47 firing at women and small kids. I literally mean children, no older than my 4-year-old son, ripped from their homes and held hostage because they are Jewish.

By “young women,” I don’t mean a woman pretending to be pregnant so she can get close enough to a Jew to stab them to death. I don’t mean an actual pregnant woman using her pregnancy to catch Israelis off guard and kill them. I mean a literal teenage girl, minding her business, ripped from her friend group, thrown into a truck, stripped naked, murdered, and paraded around town while onlookers spat on her dead, naked body.

And unlike the accusations that get thrown at Israel, these are not even accusations. We at IBSI are monitoring the situation closely, and we don’t see much of any of the mainstream news media reporting on this orgy of violence. We don’t even see it much from the Israeli government. We are seeing these gruesome videos of what we described and worse from the Arab Palestinian terrorists themselves. They are celebrating this. They are heralding this. They laugh and cheer and “alluha akbar” over this. There are entire text groups on Telegram and other platforms where the murderers are posting their ‘accomplishments.’ One of them is called Gaza Now and can be found at this link. Please be advised; a lot of the content may be hard to stomach for some. But also know that compared to the others, this is mild.

The war kicked off as my wife and the head of IBSI’s Speakers Bureau, Olga Washington was on a plane headed to Israel to receive an award from the Jewish National Fund for her incredible work in the area Africa-Israel relations and Israel advocacy. She was recently named JNF’s top “Zionist ViZIONaries” along with other notable advocates. I happened to be in Reno, NV preparing to play at a music festival, and ironically enough, one of the first pieces of footage I saw was of Israelis at a music festival in Israel running for their lives as terrorists opened fire on them and kidnapped a young woman named Noa Argamani.

Many reached out to ask how we were doing with all of this. We are fine, at peace, and not deterred. My bride is safe, and has returned to me safely. “Worry” is not the word that would describe where we personally, and we at IBSI are. No. The word would be “livid.”

We are livid because of three major things.

1. These terrorists and thugs continue to enact gruesome murders, kidnappings, and abuse of Israeli men, women, and children.

2. Rallies in the US have taken place since then to support these barbaric acts.

3. The news and some of our elected officials, as always, are engaging in false equivalency, deceptively depicting this full-scale attack on Israelis as some even-handed conflict where “both sides need to de-escalate.” (Curious; how can one de-escalate when they didn’t escalate in the first place?)

4. The Biden administration has been giving billions of dollars in aid both to the Palestinian Authority (in violation of the Taylor Force Act), and to Iran, the #1 sponsor of global terror, and perhaps Israel’s greatest enemy who inches closer and closer to nuclear capabilities.

Just a few days ago, the Biden administration gave $100 million more to the Palestinian Authority; ostensibly for humanitarian aid, but the PA has proven time and again that the aid it receives goes to paying the salaries of the very men who carried out the massacre. A program otherwise known as “pay-for-slay.”

Of all the things listed, number four is by far the most infuriating.

Why? Because we all saw this coming.

This was a trainwreck in slow motion. The first time President Joe Biden and his administration unlawfully gave hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority, there was only a small handful of pro-Israel organizations that spoke up. Not only was it against the law to send funding, but the whole reason the law was put in place was because of the PA’s “pay-to-slay” program. The Taylor Force Act says that funding to the PA will stop until they stop paying terrorists. It was enforced during Trump’s administration, then just weeks into Biden’s, payments resumed in violation of the Act.

On September 11, 2023, the Biden administration unfroze $6 billion to Iran for a prisoner swap. The Iranian regime, which makes no bones about wanting to destroy both Israel and America, is just weeks away from achieving nuclear capability. The Iranian regime, which is moving its fighters closer to the Israel-Syria border to soon join Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the slaughtering. The Iranian regime, which is the top sponsor of terrorism on the African continent — the US released to that same Iranian regime $6 billion - on September 11th. If that alone wasn’t the writing on the wall for our Israeli brothers and sisters, it is hard to know what would be.

Besides a few milquetoast social media posts trembling at the President’s feet, and maybe a rally here or there, nothing was said or done. Not only that, when IBSI and a small group of others spoke up, other pro-Israel groups pushed back at us in defense of the Biden administration. All the President had to do was stand at a podium and regurgitate the age-old “We stand with Israel” speech, and that would be enough for some of the most crucial voices in the fight for Israel to swoon and thank the president for his “unwavering commitment and support.” It happened in April of 2021, when Joe Biden went to Israel, gave that same speech, and then immediately afterward, gave another $200 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority. The same ones swooning over Joe Biden’s empty, hollow words had absolutely nothing to say about him funding a government bent on massacring Israelis and the Jewish state.

The US is actively funding both sides of the Israeli-Arab conflict and has been doing so for years. A big part of the US funding provided to Israel is for the advanced defense system called the Iron Dome. Unfortunately, so does a very significant part of the aid that eventually makes its way to Hamas, who not only pay others to kill Jews, but hoard billions and enjoy their mansions, private helicopters, Mercedes Benz’s, large investments, and much more. Yes, the top leaders in Hamas are among the richest people on earth.

The knife that keeps on stabbing is that we knew and know all of this. Yet there are still those who defend and run cover for President Joe Biden and his administration.

Again, my wife has returned to the US safely and in one piece, and has since, organized events around the North Carolina area with our partners at Club Z in support of Israel and to demand the return of the 200 Israeli hostages that are still trapped in Gaza. IBSI will be showing a display of solidarity on November 19th here in the Carolinas as well in partnership with local churches and the local Jewish and Israeli communities. We are happy to stand with Israel and the Jewish people, but we would be less than a pro-Israel organization if we were not committed to the truth in addressing the larger issue. President Biden sending military ships and fighter jets to the region would seem incredible if he had not also sent $100 million to the Palestinian Authority and unfroze $6 billion for Iran. Every pro-Israel organization should be holding this administration’s feet to the fire and demanding accountability for what is essentially our government backing terror against Israel, and breaking the law by violating the Taylor Force Act. 

Israel’s enemies are not just the ones pointing guns at her, and there is blood on many more hands than just the ones doing the physical killing.
