Sharia Slavery: Arab Enslavement of Africans
Dumisani Washington's piece in White Rose Magazine
Dumisani Washington, Founder & CEO of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI), began speaking out on behalf of persecuted Christians in Sudan in the 1990s. This was almost 20 years before Dumisani started advocating for Israel. This is also one of the many reasons why IBSI’s work prominently features the plight of Africans under the oppression of Islamic imperialism. IBSI believes that, in refuting the racially driven lies against Israel and Zionism, contrasting the reality of the 1400-year Trans Saharan Slave Trade with the free, democratic, and pluralistic Israel is a moral imperative.

Thank you for all you do. I have never felt there was any kind of disconnect between your work for Israel and your work for contemporary slaves. They are fellow victims of the same enemy.
Thank you, Dumisani, for your courage and passion in writing about the trans-Saharan slave trade. That evil is truly grievous and abominable on all levels. Is it any wonder that "Abid" or "Abd," depending on the Arabic dialect, is an onomatopoeia of the sound of spitting?
