Our Final Farewell to Olga
Memorial services conclude in the Carolinas
After the passing of IBSI Senior Staff and Washington family member Olga Meshoe Washington, it was announced there would be three services in her honor: Her burial in the Holy Land, her memorial in South Africa, and a musical tribute in North Carolina (Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, SC). Last Thursday was the third and final event and, once again, IBSI and the Washington family thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes.
As we enter the spring season, IBSI will resume its mission with a renewed emphasis on the African and African diaspora solidarity with Israel, starting with events in the US, Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya), and Israel. May G-d give Olga's family and community the strength to endure this monumental loss. Especially to her husband and beautiful boys. My heart breaks for all those impacted.
