BLM can't hide from its Jihadist Legacy

Why historical truth matters

Beginning in 2014, the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI) warned about the deceptive and nefarious nature of Black Lives Matter — both the organization and its contrived movement. Though not as visible today (but still very active), BLM was as toxic to the Black community as it was to the Jewish community, intentionally conflating Black civil rights with the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and fostering increased Jew-hatred in our nation. And why the deception and blaxploitation? Because BLM is a Marxist and jihadist front group attempting to destroy the United States. As we explained back in 2022:

Being an admittedly Marxist organization, BLM thrives on disinformation, which includes its name. Most people — regardless of ethnicity — cannot distinguish between the phrase Black Lives Matter, the Movement for Black Lives manifesto, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF), or the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter. For most people, “Black Lives Matter!” means the lives of Black people are as important as everyone else’s. No fair-minded person would disagree with that sentiment, and BLM manipulates this fact.

On October 7, 2023, the terrorist group Hamas along with al-Qaeda operatives invaded Israel’s southern border from Gaza and massacred or abducted some 1,300 men, women, children, and babies. This was the largest single-day slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust. To this day, Hamas is still holding some of the hostages. Many hostages have died. The day after the Hamas attacks, the Chicago chapter of BLM tweeted a drawing of one of the terrorist paragliders who descended on the Nova Music Festival in Re’im, killing over 340 people. The backlash against BLM was so swift and universal that the Chicago chapter took down the post. After ten years of touting itself as a movement with “chapters” in “communities and towns”, BLM attempted to distance itself from BLM Chicago. Quoting the October 11, 2023, Washington Free Beacon piece entitled Black Lives Matter Will Not Condemn Affiliates That Glorified Hamas Attacks:

Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, the group that launched the movement in 2013 and purports to represent BLM activists worldwide, refused to say whether it condemns the messages from the local chapters.

"We don't have any comments on your story…To clarify, we are not affiliated with BLM Grassroots or BLM Chicago. We are the global/main BLM."

It should be noted that BLM UK also expressed support for Hamas directly after the October 7 massacre. There does not seem to be any record of the BLMGNF addressing BLM UK. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which IBSI has publicly criticized as running cover for BLM, also attempted to absolve the “main BLM” of the Chicago chapter’s pro-genocide actions.

Recently, the official BLM Instagram page took issue with IBSI’s IG post featuring the infamous BLM Chicago paraglider tweet. The IG admin(s) commented that “we love everyone,” and that IBSI should, “Stop trying to divide us.” When confronted with BLM’s longstanding support for jihad against Israel and Jews, including the May 2020 BLM LA-led riot in the Jewish neighborhood of Fairfax, BLM conveniently claimed to also not be affiliated with BLM LA. As proof, they cited a January 2024 New York Post article entitled, Defund-police activist ordered to pay legal bills for BLM after claiming group owed her $10M. The New York Post article says nothing about the BLM LA riots in Fairfax. It is a report on the lawsuit between BLM LA leader Melina Abdullah trying to gain more power within BLMGNF. In fact, the article affirms Abdullah's official role with BLM by stating, "Abdullah was a co-founder of BLM along with [Patrisse] Cullors and Alizia Garza. The three women were leading the non-profit when a shell company for the group purchased the Los Angeles property in Oct. 2020." The BLM LA riot in Fairfax was in May 2020 - long before the shell company purchased BLM.

Essentially, BLM is not telling the truth. Again. As IBSI has said before:

To truly understand the means and objectives of BLM, one cannot compare it to a civil rights organization like the NAACP or the Urban League. Rather, one must compare BLM to its ideological kin, the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization)…

For decades, the PLO has attempted to present itself as an honest broker of Palestinian liberation all the while providing material support for the destruction of Israel and annihilation of the Jewish people. Likewise, BLM deceptively claims to love humanity while still condemning and attacking the Jewish State and promoting antisemitism. This is why BLM would take to social media in September 2024 and tell Hamas to release the hostages, while never condemning Hamas for slaughtering Israeli civilians and foreign nationals in the first place. Deception.

While BLM is the focal point of this article, it is but a symbol of a much more important principle, one that especially impacts the Black community. Like the PLO, BLM is willing to continue its deadly exploitation of Black/African people to achieve the global Islamic caliphate goals of its forerunners like the Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, and the Muslim Brotherhood. In November 2024, IBSI published the piece, The Iranian Regime's increased focus on Black Americans.

When Iranian-backed Hamas committed its massacre in Israel on October 7th, 2023, the attackers (also) included Iranian nationals. Among the 1,300 killed or abducted in Israel that day were two young agricultural students from Tanzania, Clemence Mtenga and Joshua Mollel. The Iranian-led terrorists didn’t just kill the two young Africans, they called them abeds (slaves) and mutilated their bodies. Sadly, we have Joshua Moellel’s death on video that the terrorists recorded. What the jihadists did to those African students is what the Iranian regime truly thinks of Black people. Their brutal deaths are a reminder of what is in store for Black Americans and Black Africans once they’ve served the Islamic regime’s purpose.

BLM is a faux human rights organization that is using Black/African people to accomplish its communist and jihadist mission. The fact that BLM is attempting to hide this means that the more people know and expose them, the less effective they are. It also means that Black-Jewish/Africa-Israel cooperation thwarts the plans of religious and ideological extremists. People who love freedom and abhor needless violence and bloodshed must speak out. They must courageously tell the truth. As Dr. King said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that.”
