Africans are being hunted and killed like animals by Arab Muslims

The Jihad against Israel, Africa, and the African Diaspora, Part 2

I am an American of African descent, ancestrally from the Yoruba tribe of West Africa. If I were to be flown to Sudan and dropped off near the Darfur region, I would likely be killed or enslaved by Arab Muslims based solely on my African identity. My American nationality would be irrelevant. To them, I am an African, an abed (slave).

According to a recent CNN report, Arab Muslims in Sudan are searching for and slaughtering Black Africans, whether they’re Christian or Muslim. “Those with a black or African tribal identity are being systematically hunted and killed by Arab militias,” said CNN International Correspondent Salma Abdelaziz. This is exactly what the Nazis did to the Jews of Europe and North Africa, even if those Jews were Christian. This Islamist practice of slaughtering Africans goes back to the time of the Prophet Muhammad (7th century), and was the impetus for the still ongoing Trans-Saharan Slave Trade.

Two weeks ago, Africa-Israel Weekly published an article entitled The Jihad against Israel, Africa, and the African Diaspora. From the piece:

While the Iranian and other Islamist regimes spend countless hours analyzing and plotting against poor and vulnerable Black communities in America, they also lead a genocide of African Christians, proving once again that Israel’s enemies are Africa’s (and the African diaspora’s) enemies. The Hamas massacre and abduction of Israelis on October 7, 2023, mirrors the Boko Haram massacre and abduction of Nigerian Christians every week.

Since that AIW edition, the Islamic jihadist slaughter of Africans in Nigeria and Sudan has only accelerated. As mentioned, usually uninterested mainstream news outlets like CNN and the BBC are reporting on it. CNN took the further unusual step of accurately explaining that the bloodshed is both religious (Arab Muslims killing Christians) and ethnic (Arabs killing Africans regardless of religion). Even the United Nations, usually fixated on demonizing Israel, is calling the situation in Sudan “the most devastating humanitarian and displacement crisis in the world.” The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) has been constantly updating on Christian genocide in Nigeria perpetrated by Islamic terrorists, Boko Haram, and the Fulani herdsman. One of CBN’s latest articles deals with Africa’s Trans-Saharan Sahel region.

More than half of all terrorism-related deaths worldwide are occurring here. "There were 5,595 people killed through terrorism in 2024," [Steve] Killelea [the Australia-based Institute for Economics and Peace] said.

The primary perpetrators are ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Roggio says these groups, despite being bitter rivals, share a common vision. "They want to establish a global caliphate and impose their harsh version of sharia, or Islamic law, on the people," Roggio said.

In my discussion with South African political economist Phumlani Majozi, I address the numerous terrorist threats facing Africa, including in Burkina Faso and the Sahel.

On the Shawn Ryan Show earlier this year, former CIA Targeter Sarah Adams explained that jihadist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda are focused on Africa as a priority of ushering in the global Islamic caliphate. Adams stated:

“This all started with the Hamas attacks (on October 7, 2023 in Israel). That was one of Al-Qaeda’s planned attacks. So, they have these waves against Israel, waves against Europe, waves against [the US]…and a lot of the African plotting is to create the Islamic caliphate…[then throughout] all of North Africa and then up into Spain like in the olden days.”

Former FBI agent John Guadolo explained that the headquarters for the emerging caliphate is the Turkish-controlled Diyanet located in Lanham, Maryland. This underscores Turkish President Recep Erdoğan’s role in the Islamization of Africa.

In the jihadist vision of a global Islamic caliphate, non-Muslims are forcibly converted or forced to pay the jizya (tax or protection money). But, again, very often, Africans are enslaved or killed despite their religious affiliation. Islamist propagandists like the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan have spent decades deceiving Black people into believing that an Islamic world will accept them. And for decades, many African Muslims and Christians have called Farrakhan and others out for their bitter betrayal. After nearly 1400 years, the Arab Islamic Trans-Saharan Slave Trade of Africans is alive and well.

In 2017, Michael Mpeirwe Katungi submitted a report for the African Union Commission entitled Has Libya become the new Gore’e slave trade market? Quoting:

An immoral trade proliferates in total indifference in a Libya devastated by war and which tends to become a sort of new Gore’e for migrants.

Sub-Saharan migrants are exchanged for between $200 and $500 and then assigned to work in Libyan homes.

Others are sequestered, tortured and forced to call their families to pay for their release.

In Libya, IOM said in a statement, are hundreds of sub-Saharan migrants and migrants are publicly sold in markets or garages.

Some 50 years ago, Black Americans to Support Israel Committee (BASIC) co-founder Bayard Rustin addressed the Islamist slaughter of Sudanese Muslims, which was being ignored as the UN and the international community fawned over Yasser Arafat and the PLO. Consider this quote from Rustin’s 1975 OpEd, The PLO: Freedom fighters or terrorists:

…some of the most blatant “racist” regimes are in Arab lands. In Iraq, Jews were hanged in a public square, while today napalm is employed [against] the dissident Kurdish minority. Syria rivals Nazi Germany in its brutal treatment of its Jewish citizens, who are confined to a cramped quarter of Damascus, prevented from emigrating, and from time to time murdered with official sanction. And in the Sudan, it was non-Moslem blacks who were the target of a genocidal war in which 500,000 were killed and many thousands more forced to flee their homes.

The genocide, enslavement, and displacement of Africans under the campaign for Sharia is a foreshadowing of what awaits the Western world if our current course is not corrected. For Africans in the diaspora, the jihadist mass slaughter of African Muslims and Christians is a reminder that the Western values of liberty, the rule of law, and religious freedom are what separates us from the fate of the people of Sudan and the Sahel. As we said before, now more than ever, it is crucial for African pastors and leaders to recognize not just the plans and strategies of the enemy but the authority they’ve been given by God to be a righteous and prophetic voice. The fate of the free world is at stake.
